In light of the recent earthquake (magnitude 4.8) that occurred on December 29, 2015, Peak Property Management would like to take this time again to remind you that we need to be prepare for any major disaster.
Preparations include knowing what to do when it is happening as well as what to do afterwards. One key thing to remember is to try and remain calm enough to protect yourself and help others. You should take cover and stay there until you feel confident that the situation has calmed.

Everyone should make a plan for when you are at home, at work, on the road, and/or on a trip and some recommendations to include in the plan are:
- Water – Plan on 4 litres of water per person per day and try to drink at least 2 litres per day as long as supplies last. Store water in plastic containers such as soft drink bottles, but make sure you avoid using containers that will decompose or break such as glass.
- Food – Store at least a 3 day supply of non-perishable food. Try to ensure that the food do not require any refrigeration, cooking or preparation. The food should be compact and lightweight. If food must be cooked then include a can of sterno (canned heat).
- First Aid Kit and Instruction Booklet
